ACTS Church Missions

Acts Church was planted by a family of missionaries. Missions is in our DNA. And we believe wholeheartedly in sending and supporting missionary families around the globe. You can use this page as a resource to find out more about our missionaries, pray for them, support them, and give directly to them from this page. Currently we support the following missionaries on a monthly basis: the Ikerds in Namibia, the Gibbs in Malawi, Landows in Trinidad Tobago, the Fulmers in Sweden, the Wests in Washington DC, the Willis’ in NYC, the Williams in Portland, the Morenos in Greece, the Anderson’s in Brazil, the Barchus’ in Korea, the Perrys in Botswana, the McBrides in Moldova, the Sayers in Germany, the Byfields in France, the Cooney’s in France, the Corbin’s in Bangladesh, the Guidry’s in Columbia, and the Sully’s in Senegal. In addition, we support annual missions offerings such as I AM GLOBAL, Christmas For Christ, Move The Mission, Mothers Memorial, and Save our Children.

Current Mission Offering: CHRISTMAS FOR CHRIST 2024

Christmas For Christ is the most effective fundraiser for apostolic church planting in North America. Each year, we join in thousands of other churches to give millions of dollars to establish new church plants, and to resource existing church plants. Over the last 11 years, Acts Church has given more than $40,000 to Christmas for Christ. In 2024 we desire to raise an offering of $10,000 to Christmas For Christ. Giving is open now, and will continue throughout February. Give your best gift here:

The sayerS Family
Germany

Mitch and Jutta Sayers are intermediate missionaries to Germany. They were married while in northern Germany in 1994, as Brother Sayers worked as a mechanical engineer for Ford and Sister Jutta finished her studies in Braunschweig. Both received the Holy Ghost in Germany in 1995. They moved to Michigan, were baptized in Jesus' name in 1996 and were active in the choir, as team leaders, as an elder and other capacities in Ypsilanti. In 2007, just after Brother Sayers earned an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, God opened a door for them to return to Germany, this time to Stuttgart. Two years later they moved to Munich where they now live and pastor the Pentecostals of Munich, a new church plant. Brother Sayers is the General Secretary for the German speaking nations, the Vice President and Administrator for the Apostolic Ministry Training Center and also administers Purpose Institute for the German speaking nations..

Greece

Joshua and Christene Moreno served as Youth Pastor for three years and Assistant to the Pastor for one year in Downey, California. They also served as Sectional Sunday School Director and evangelized for a short time before heeding the call to the mission field. In February of 2012 they embarked on their journey as associates in missions to the country of Turkey for two years helping to pioneer an underground work. They also ministered on AIM in Greece for three months teaching in the Bible College, helping in administration, preaching revivals in various churches and witnessing God fill people with the Holy Ghost. The Moreno family received full missionary appointment at General Conference 2014. Along with their two daughters, Esther and Naomi, they are happy to be a part of the Global Missions family. When returning to the field after deputation they plan to work with veteran missionaries Sim and Judy Strickland to help further develop newly started works, plant an international church in Thessaloniki, integrate small Greek works into the UPC of Greece and enhance the Bible College..

trinidad & tobago

Joseph Landaw is a missionary kid who was raised in the islands of the Caribbean. He knows the culture and loves the island people. After Bible school, Joseph and Cassandra Landaw assisted in a church plant in Fishers, Indiana, for four years in various roles, including that of youth pastor. In 2008 they applied for and were granted an AIM assignment to Trinidad and Tobago assisting Joseph’s parents, missionaries Gary and Kristi Landaw. While there they pastored a church in the southern part of the country and coordinated and taught in the Bible school program. In September 2010, they were appointed intermediate missionaries to Trinidad and Tobago. Their main goals are to establish more churches in the southern part of the country as well as improve and increase the enrollment in the Bible school. In October, 2012, the Landaws were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Hannah Marie.
